The story was had a strong beginning. MC and her family were on the road, looking for a place to call home after a famine destroyed their previous home. She is seemingly OP and she does all the typical poor to rich things that most do. I don't mind that, it's typical but I like it. However, what turned me off now is the author's introduction of the romantic element. The ML is already thinking of her as his woman, and that was disgusting because she's fourteen. Also, their interaction have been limited and most of the time, she thinks he's angry, at her. I just had to put it down because I can't keep reading little girls being paired with adult men. It's not romantic, people.
