I really like it!The story is like a different take to the classic “Swan lake princess” but instead of the pure white swan, our MC here is the beautiful black swan. She is bullied and cursed by her evil stepdaughters (specifically the eldest of the two). She’s a beautiful young stepmother-in-name-only by day and an elegant black swan queen of the lake by night. She takes in the adorable baby white swan princess to protect and raise her as her own. The story is fluffy and the interaction of the MC and ML is really funny and cute. I can’t wait for the day both our MC and ML acknowledge their own feelings for each other, I bet it would be so sweet and a bit humorous haha.The story also has bits of resemblance to “Cinderella” and “Beauty and the Beast” but with differences. It’s just that instead of a poor stepdaughter being bullied as the protagonist, we have a poor beautiful stepmother in her 20s as our main character. “Beauty and the Beast” because all the inhabitants of the lake are cursed, they were once humans but now animals hopelessly waiting for the curse to be lifted if ever such a day would come, just like the inhabitants of the Beast’s castle in the classic story.It’s very interesting and makes me want to read more. The translations for chapter 1-28 are really good but the new translations onwards really need to improve more, there are some chapters that are very confusing, but you can still understand it a lot better than shitty mtl. It improves as it goes though.Thank you to the translators! I really hope there are more updates. The story is really fun so give it a go and read :)
