Hm.. it's not bad that's for sure. I actually really want to like it. However, it's just kind of... hm emotionally dry? I'm not sure though if it's because maybe it has a slow pacing or something? Hm.. or is it because there is a lot of telling and very very little showing?

To be fair, at least it's not overly annoying with its bad characters and feels fairly logical, however I feel very little emotional connection between these two even disregarding the sudden marriage. I think it is probably the writing a bit.
