An excellent story, but I don't know if I recommend it. It's definitely not an easy read. I keep skipping bits. The actual r*pe description ('misfortune' in the description is a euphemism for full r*pe) is blunt but not too detailed. The description of the psychological and social aftermath is the brutal bit.I like the way her family is portrayed. Not angels and not monsters, just people. A bit selfish, not very good at seeing the main characters perspective, but they do love her and want the best for her.There are a few unrealistic coincidences, but not too bad.
