This novel is spectacular (at least so far).The MC doesn't mindlessly push forward. She lets the child get comfortable with her and always consults with the child before deciding anything. Even if she doesn't love the children she's responsible for, she shows consideration and care, and is attentive towards their needs.This is like a breadth of fresh air. So, give it a chance.
