If you can't stand slow-paced stories then do not pick up. Its almost infuriating now to find authors now that write these slow-short chapters. To use an analogy, if a volume was 24 hours in real life, the first chapter is rolling out of bed.30 chapters in the story is starting to pick up speed and we see an actual plot just around the corner, but its taking the author/translator months to get 1 chapter out. Hoping, but not expecting better in the future.
