Where do even start....The novel itself isnt bad. The world building is steady, consistent, and pretty good overall. Nibelungen's well written as such. In the beginning, the MC's obligations to his younger brother and the general gist is pretty good (tho I did feel the beginning to be slightly faster in pace compared to where I read it to).The bad part is the couple itself. The MC, Zhou Yu, does not want to get together with the ML, who is Spoiler
Mo Ye, is an S organism. Now, as mentioned in the summary, S organisms can manipulate humans' emotions and make them their nutrition.

Because they're both men. *facepalm* I'm sorry darling, maybe your life should be more important that your sexuality here. Idk. Just a thought.It doesn't end there. One chapter all of this nonsense is happening, and the next chapter, MC's internalised h*mophobia is thrown out of the window and they're both suddenly kissing??? IdekThe plot itself is very well through tho, so if you don't really care about reading this for the couple and like the plot more, it's not a bad read in itself.
