I really love this novel. It's one of my top favorites (though I'm a sucker for supernatural novels) and I will definitely read the translation after there a few more chapters.It's easy to MLT and the conclusions that MC makes aren't outrageously predicted from a few clues. The author even foreshadows things so that the reader can figure it out before the MC.It's plot heavy and the ML chases after MC shamelessly pretty early but it isn't requited until chapter 250 or so. But the wait is worth it and their love is so cute. It's hard to write about a stoic and oblivious MC falling in love but I think the author did it perfectly.My only issue was that due to the large amount of side characters, perspective shifts happen a lot and sometimes I want to skip because the perspective changes when MC is in trouble. It's annoying when the author leaves on a cliffhanger and this happens multiple times throughout the story.Also some of the stars on the variety show have no presence, for example the girl and variety star; and I even forget about them until they're mentioned. But the other characters are engaging so I can forgive that.Spoiler
Ahhh!!! The animal comparisons really pierce my heart and make me love the characters even more! MC as a big wild cat and Lu Xingxing as a husky is so accurate. I ship ragdoll Song Ci x reliable Zhen Zhou
