Holy shit, it's so messy. And before you try to understand the MC that is being narrated and then 1st POV over and over again, you then realize that it is a novel where its author wrote a line every 5 minutes or so. And no, not figuratively, literally.

Spoiler

Of course, the reality is that other swordsmen have kept their mouths shut ever since Salvatore became SS-Rank.

In any case, it proved that his method was better than anyone else.

However, that’s only possible because it’s her father.

She was quite prideful, but she didn’t want to accept this obvious fight, so she was going to refuse.

“Celeste.”

“Hm?”

Yoo Seodam had come down from the Costantini’s section and approached her.

“Go ahead and spar. It’ll be a good learning experience.”

After hesitating for a moment, Celeste nodded.

Ever since she started learning swordsmanship from Yoo Seodam, she has been attentive to his words.

Smiling at Aren, Seodam spoke.

‘Well, since she’s my student, I’d like to give her some pointers during the spar. That won’t be a problem, right?”

“... Do as you please.”

Aren hardened his expression as soon as he saw Seodam, but it was none of Celeste’s concern.

Seodam beckoned Celeste over, then whispered something in her ear.

Soon, she tilted her head after hearing his instructions.

“Is that really possible... ?”

“Mhm. Just trust me and hit.”

Seodam’s instructions were so simple that it was rather doubtful.

Just hit when you hear ‘hit!, ’ dodge when you hear ‘dodge!, ’ and block when you hear ‘block!’

The opponent is S-Rank.

There’s no way it’s going to be that simple, will it?

However, Celeste still nodded.

“I’ll try.”

“Also, give up after an adequate time.”

“I’m thinking so.”

Celeste pulled out her sword and stood before Aren.

[collapse]

Imagine a novel going like that for about the entire time, and its only about 1.5k to 1.9k words for each chapter; and every few sentences, there is a complete change to the structure of the writing. Furthermore, there is no explanation at all, is as if you're supposed to read something you already know.

Only good is that the novel didn't fall to things that are plain korean-like; like the immense and extreme idolization of fame and the need to be extremely good and neutral perfectly well (all the time, because it does start to happen).

Power levels... not planned at all, messy, messy, messy and only messy.

In short, is a headache to read.
