I Became the Boyfriend of the School’s Madonna, Who Had Turned Down Numerous Confessions, but Somehow, Without Realizing It, I Wasn’t Just Playing a Role Anymore Chapter 70 Discussion

The story doesn't fully exploit the potential of the premise. It feels like the majority of the time depicted in the novel is actually not spent pretending in front of others, and the reasoning to keep it up in private is thin. Which is not to say that there aren't sweet moments, but it could be said that there's little plot and if they had gone out normally from the start, there wouldn't have been a huge difference.

Also, some of the chapters are very short, to the extent that one chapter doesn't necessarily cover a full conversation.

It was mostly a pleasant read (minus some white knight wish fulfillment that didn't seem realistic to me from various angles), but not exactly among the best.
