I finished the main story a while ago and I am just writing a review but all I can say is that this story gets better and better the more you read. Act 1 and Act 2 might seem underwhelming but they are just there to start off the story. This novel really gets good in Act 3 and from there is just gets better and better. The ending really tells you that the author thought everything out from beginning to end. The characters are really charming and they are written well (especially Lortel). This is definitely one of the best in its genre and there is really not a lot you can complain about. One of those being world building. This novel doesn't really have world building as it gave that up for the sake of fluidity and pacing (as seen by the measly 250 chapters), but nevertheless an amazing story. And whilst it is a harem, nothing really gets "official" in the main part of the story. I can't speak for the side stories as I have yet to read them. Overall an amazing read, which you can finish quickly, and certainly be able to end up in your top 10 (maybe even top 5).
