Painfully slow. 54 chaps in and the MC is in qi refining 3. He only has 2 children with spirit roots and he has only had like 5 interactions with the system. This novel also has no real interesting moments. What does he do in 54 chaps if he's not getting stronger? Almost nothing. He simply breeds with his wifes (scenes are not depicted) and cultivates. He has only left the clan ONCE in 54 chapters. Face slapping is cliche but it's at least interesting, whereas this novel is boringly realistic. The novel is in dire need of a large timeskip where the MC can actually start reaping the benefits of his kids. I am not interested in his next wife with subpar talent or his difficulties in cultivating. If you are interested in reading about a dude who does nothing and doesn't get stronger than this is for you. If you wanted a novel with a MC that grows look elsewhere.
