Gave it 4 stars for now. Will depend on how it handles the increasing number of characters and how many get forgotten as the story goes on and new are introduced.I think the number of times the first wives are mentioned is already drastically low, focusing more on cultivating wives.edit: As expected the story focuses on the few main wives and will probably maintain it like that, with some mention of other concubines. Author dug himself a bit with the number of spouses. Also the first spouses and some kids started dying off screen now since they remained as mortals, unable to cultivate. It brings it up as a downside of seeking immortality a few times and why many cultivators don't have families or only a few kids, you essentially remain alone having to watch your close family and friend dying. Still I quite like the slow pace and the clan build up/ semi management that this novel provides.
