Fun to read but quickly got repetitive.

An eating disorder is mentioned fairly early on. Another reviewer tried to say because that character had an unusual reason for being bulimic, she didn't really have an ed. The girl has disordered eating habits; she has an ed.

Whether or not the author wanted to make fun of eds, I don't know. Maybe that's just how eating disorders are seen in China, but how would I know.

It's a mediocre novel that starts pretty funny and could've been a short story as there doesn't seem to be a plot. It's more of a loosely connected series of short stories about progressively insane drama among the rich and famous.
