So far, I think this is good. It's pretty funny and the story is not bad. I could continue reading this for sure.

There are two problems I have with this story though. One of them is that the MC's salted fish attitude so far is... a little annoying?

Like. As one of the previous reviewers said, the original was supposed to be quite strong for their age group but it doesn't show in MC at all. And that's... A waste? He supposedly inherited all the original's skills and yet he can barely do anything. Always has to get saved by someone else. Basically. I kinda wanted him to at least be able to fight for himself sometimes even though he wants to be a salted fish. I don't think he was very successful at being one either way just because he keeps getting involved in things. I thought he would at least think he would be safer and have more free time to do what he wanted if he had at least tried and had grown a bit stronger. So that's one thing that bothered me.

Also, the main couple:

I know this is going to be 1v1 despite the harem tag and that's why I'm reading this but I personally prefer the Master with MC so far. Like, at this point in the story there's not much emotional or even physical development between the MC and ML yet so I guess that's why I don't think they actually fit well together? I think the Master at least would treat him very well. I saw some other reviews hinting that they parted on a bad note and now I'm scared to read further. I really do like the Master character a lot. I think he's kinda cute actually.

All in all, I still think it's a pretty good light-read-on-the-side type of story. Nothing too serious that it makes you think a lot and has some comedy, which is mostly due to the MC's personality. It's a pretty cute story so far. Will continue reading and edit this review when I'm done. Maybe.
