I usually like these overpowered, listless and flat character type of story when I read novels late into the night.. I enjoy apocalypse novels with female protagonists, though those are few in numbers, so I can usually power through bad ones. However, this.. Another level completely. The magic part was the final straw, and the changing races part simply just was too crazy to ignore.. Also, the drastic change in appearance as she walked away made me cringe. It could be your thing, but it just wasn’t what I was looking for.
