i would like to say it's a good novel. Different vibe but similar with lotm, it's more complex in political struggle and searching for the truth. That's why this one is on par with my goat Series. If you like lotm then you'll like this.Our MC reborn as another ian in the past. From there he step by step avoid his death flag and also find the reason he turn back in this TL. He using his brain and his skill more. In other novel, other MC know about future and the plot as a golden finger. But this one is not. Ian from the future, know the future, but he is blind about what happen 100yrs ago or the timeline. So he is indeed great using his brain and play politics, and also his magic. This is the charm of the novel. The plot and the characters development is great.This novel is a lil bit out of my taste, because I don't like politics or brainer thingy and it's lack of warm friendship&family vibe (?). Sometimes you'll find it boring, but for the sake of plot, world building, and the characters, it's worth it. 5 Stars for this.
