It's a slowburn melodrama... full of unreal fluffy stuff.. this is like typical Hallmark story. Both concealed their identity and tada! Turns out the man become the powerful emperor with full of love to fl. Both have sad past and heal together, blah blah..If you like cliche story, this is for you. But if you like entertaining, thrilling, action story, this novel will be really boring when you read it. Because despite the story should be about regaining emperor position and punishing traitors, there are not much major plot about that and the story mainly between FL & ML only. Even we didnt get pov from the suppossed master villain. No complicated politics, no superb tactics, nor ML shining in his armor beheaded his enemy. All of that missing in this novel. 4.0/5.0
