this is a must read. idc if it's not completely translated, this story has proved to be amazing at just 5 chapters. f*cking brilliant. I found this randomly on the front page of NU, and I fell in love with the MC. I find out that the author is the same as 1HPSI is the cherry on top. this author does the "aftermath of betrayal" trope so well. I genuinely wish there was a category or tag dedicated to this type of trope, although I dont think any story will ever top this author's style of writing and character narration. 10/10edit: after reading the ending, it's good!... but it leaves me wanting more. I know from the author's previous work that their story telling is great, but the way they write endings feels so rushed each time. the conclusion the story takes on also feels rushed in their previous work and the same happened here (the development of the ending), so I'm a little disappointed. still a great read and the face slapping was 10/10 amazing. basically in their previous work, it's basically a mystery to readers how the fMC ended up with the ML because 90% of the story was not actually romance but just revenge. the development of their romance felt like an after thought to the revenge. it feels similar in this story because suddenly many years pass and the fMC of this story meets new humans who are not corrupted. the ending felt rushed, even for short story standards.
