The Prestigious Family’s Young lady and the Farmer Chapter Completed Discussion

This book is one of my favorites, one of the two shared universe novels dedicated to two transmigrated women. They meet as two young s*aves traveling up north to be sold in two adjacent vassal kingdoms. The one who is the FL of this novel will be sold to a young hunter, exchanged for a wild pig and 5 silvers. The other one we shall meet at the very end of this novel, she becomes the empress.

The plotline is the story of a city planner slash web-graphics designer in our times who becomes a sausage maker and her husband, a disabled man from a very complicated peasant family with six grown up children.

His parents discard him and the pregnant FL because they do not want to feed the invalid and his brood for decades to come and the couple happily thrives after that by establishing a sausage production and distribution business while the heartless parents will eventually be murdeed by their remaining two sons, their favorites, just because those two men did not want to go to the army nor to pay 15 silvers to be released from that duty. But if their parent (s) died, then there is a law that sets them free from the military duty because they are in the mourning period.

The beauty of this story is mainly in its characters, there are just enough of them to keep the plot going and the nasty ones basically take care of themselves, digging their own graves.
