Black Bellied President Dotes on Wife Chapter 312 Discussion

This isn't a bad story. The ML and FL are likable and have such a sweet loving relationships. There were no misunderstandings at this point as they actually talk things through. Hurrah!!! Finally a relationship that relies on trust and communication. However, there were several points that made me drop this. One of which is the violence and death. I don't understand how the people could even get away with all that stabbing and trying to kill each other.

1. ML and his half-brother - They were always trying to kill each other, but the surrounding people were just spectators to it. Even the father turned a blind eye to it as long as they didn't really kill each other. Although the father wants them to stop, he never actively does anything to stop them.
2. Zhao Anan and Tang Yun - It is said they they would beat each other every time they met and would even stab the other. Wouldn't someone have intervened? Why would they just let it go? Especially since Zhao Anan was from an elite family and Tang Yun (well, there was no mention of her background as of yet, but I don't think she has any except a supporter?) was only a maniac woman after the ML Wouldn't she have been put under a retraining order or something?
3. FL's indifference towards her father and step-mother in getting them to kill themselves. I understand why due to the things she suffered, but when she stabbed her step-mother, it was like she had done it her whole life. Wasn't she supposed to be an ordinary person, just the daughter of a Deputy-Mayor? When did she become someone ok with stabbing people?
4. FL's half-sister - She gets away with a lot of things despite the ML being all so powerful. WTF? Even the sister's fiancé gets duped and lied by her despite him being from a relatively wealthy family. Couldn't he have investigated her a little when it would have been obvious. Even asking her ex-friends would have sufficed since she had sent letters to them and several women to stay away from him. How could she had even gotten away with cheating on him and trying to become an actress? None of it was explained.
5. The ML's family - Apparently, they are powerful enough to bomb an entire family and that's ok. Is there something wrong with this? I think so. How could they just get away with it and decide people's fate as if they were the law? Again, not explained. Just that they were capable. So killing people was ok. And the law, even if they knew, did nothing.

Just these points alone got me so confused. I would have read more, but it became too much. But if you disregard the above and only focused on the romance, then keep on reading. For me, it too far from reality that I couldn't continue. Spoiler

What person would torture someone at a hospital and nobody would care or notice despite all the screaming?

[collapse] I guess I anticipated a more realistic storyline and/or explanation since it in a modern setting. Unfortunately, the power struggles and violence were getting too out of hand in their lack of explanation.
