Amongst the top believable isekai out there.

Great characters and understandable motivations.

Hindsight being what it is, the criticism on the geopolitical aspect of the novel did not age well at all. The actions of certain nations is spot on, very much would totally be in character... if not even be too tame.

Even the JP gov gets dragged. JSDF are the only ones coming off competent and even they are bogged down by bureaucracy.

Good anime adaptation and very good manga adapt (if somewhat slow).
