Well this novel is one of my favourites, it is a slice-life genre and for me it delivers what it promised, this a story of a MC in feudal society in another world, I see that people berate the MC for being such pu**y beta male and so on but I really don't understand where they're coming from, true the MC goes with flow most of the time but why wouldn't he, he has nothing to lose and often gain something, why the hell would he go against the king or try to fight some higher ranking nobles because they used him while not causing him no harm in doing so and even rewarding him true sometimes he feels frustrated but that how the world is, giving and taking , why would he try being some kind of edge lord going around threatining people with his power, he is easygoing and so he doesn't like conflict if necessary (he doesn't have a grand goal or aspiration he just wants to live his life to the best he could , in the end getting on people good page is better for him on the long run) .
