Came to this light novel version after the translator switched over from the web novel version. There are apparently some minor differences in the early chapters between the web novel and the light novel but I didn't have any trouble with the switch.Basically this is a laid back isekai story about OP wizard MC. A relaxing slice-of-life that occasionally has crises for the MC to take care of. It would be unfair to call this story dull but I am shocked that the author managed to work in a war and multiple battles with various monsters. The tone just really isn't very exciting. The light novel doesn't have the horrible info dumps that plagued the web novel. The light novel plays up the slice-of-life more than the web novel did. This gives more character interaction but makes things even more boring. At least the web novel action was moderately exciting between info dumps. In the light novel I'm actively skipping through a dragon hunt because it just isn't very exciting.Basically, this is a slow moving isekai about being a noble wizard in another world. The web novel is more focused on action and politics than the light novel (although still not a ton of either) but suffers from info dumps. The light novel has more interaction with the harem and random people but further slows the pace of an already slow novel.Tl;dr: give it a shot if you want a relaxed story with these tags but don't get your hopes up.
