So in the first couple of arcs, I didn't see any of the yandere tendencies other reviewers mentioned, but it seems like ML's yandere ages like fine wine. You get a hint of it at the end of the 3rd arc and it progressively gets more perverse. You must understand, the ML is a mu*derous and literal psychopath and MC is his only humanity by a thin thread. He is completely apathetic except for those feeling ignited by MC, and the rest of the time all his emotions are faked, even those for their child are fake. There's a touch of horror in the way he loves her. That said, MC is really a vase character and is very weak in strength lol. She must depend on ML, her parents, and even Book FL for almost all combat situations.

DO NOT VENTURE TO READ IF YOU KNOW YOU CANNOT STAND YANDERE OR DARK ROMANCE.

Like a reviewer gave this novel a low rating citing that it moves too fast... Ms. Ma'am, you chose to read a q-u-i-c-k transmigration.

MC is kind of hilarious & she will do almost anything to back up her man... Spoiler

In the "brother next door in wheelchair arc", she used her precious system points to trade the police info to get them offher man's case. Also not to mention she literally dug up ML's mother's corpse and reburried it elsewhere to throw off the police. It will not be the only time she tries to hide a corpse for him either lol.

That said, she does have bottom lines and fights ML when he crosses them... and boy does he cross them.

MC is a bit loopy and always straightforward in her pursuit of the ML. They're very fluffy together if you can ignore the ML's craziness... but that too is cute if you're into yandere and dark romance.

Clues of the outside/oringal story trickles in at the end of 4th arc around chapter 240s or so in the raws.

Poison saint arc is insane. Spoiler

Here is where ML famously wiped out MC's entire sect including her father bc they wouldn't hand over their portion of the immortality ingredient. This triggers MC's need for revenge not knowing that the mastermind was her man. It also caused her to fail the mission. MC has flashbacks of the ML of this world because of how traumatic it was for her.

ML's acting is superb here, doing all he can to act the gentle & considerate type of man that MC likes. The truth is ofc he is insane and fell in love w MC the moment she was born and scheemed out her entire life.

Ghost arc is very creative. Spoiler

This is a major spoiler for the arc... I felt this needs to be spoiled bc I was a bit scared since I am also scared of ghosts. Technically ML hasn'tdied here and he'sjust dying due to some unamed physical disease. His soul was split into two from his obsession w loving the MC and also needing to kill her to take her w him bc he can'tbear the thought of not having a capable man like himself to care for her the rest of her life. He's freaky shit.

Don't worry, they compromised... but not before MC was so riled up emotionally that a forbidden memory emerged. Apparently, ML might just as insane in their orgi world as he is in these worlds.

Teacher of the Heavenly Realm/Heavenly Princess... oii what a mess...Spoiler

The MC's multiple lives were lost due to an old man's inexperience with love and misinterpreted ML's words of wanting the MC's heart. He took it literally and so everyone thought ML wants MC's literal beating heart as opposed to wanting MC to love him. So, with MC so obstinate, she kept running away from ML which triggers his need to control her and she, of course, relying on her true cause commits su*cide to get away... 13 times. Not my favorite in the series bc logic went out the window.

In the arc extra, we finally get to know a bit about the origins.

"Indeed, rather than saying Su Fa was a virus, it was more accurate to say that he (Su Fa) was a part split from his (Lu Chen) consciousness. Out of regret, he unintentionally created an omnipotent being in his mind who could make up for everything. And Su Fa was that omnipotent being. No matter what happened, no matter how many times Feng Guang encountered trouble, Su Fa had the ability to bring her back to life and keep her by his side. Because in this world, Su Fa was omnipotent."

The System is Lu Chen, who is MC's lover in their original word and various MLs are his regrets split from him to make up for his wrongs to MC, like in the Ghost arc where he wws split into two.

I forgot to mention that in a previous Arc it was revealed that the books' female lead with the golden halo also seem to exist in their actual reality. It appears she also caused misunderstandings between MC and ML leading to MC' hospitalized predicament in their reality.

Student Class President arc...

This one made me sob. Han Chen didn't run away from his purpose... there just isn't a point... and then the MotherEffing twist in the extra. We will never know exactly how his power of hypnosis is so strong that he can manipulate 3 ppl of the Han familyfor that long... BUT ML really truly scary.

As you read through you're probably really confused as to why the Crown Prince was so good as if he was the ML. That's because there are two MLs. The first one failed in a previous timeline and MC died. He came back in time so there is an old version and a current version of him the same timeline. The old version tossed the Book ML (real crown prince) into a water prison and put on a mask to play the Crown Prince while watching over current timeline developments and guiding current ML and MC into a happy path. Therefore, MC was confused by the Crown Prince's gentleness... after everything is settled, it my understanding of the raws is that both timeline MLs exists in the current tineline and take turns with the MC lol. Literally. Lol I'm surprised she can leave the bed lol.

Surpringly, there is snu snu, but the ML can't reach you know what.

Vampire arc...Spoiler

at first glance, the background is like Vampire Knight Manga where there is a school called Osiris where normies are Class B (Day class) and Vampires are in Class A (Night class). Pure bloods are revered and the Book ML is ofc the pure blood noble. All sounds familiar yet? Osiris was the vampire ancient who fought with Tobias the ancient Vampire Hunter and declared truce after fighting. Osiris then created the school so that Vampires and Hunters can learn to coexist.

MC's uselessness is especially highlighted in this arc. As a pure blood, she is without fangs bc she ate too much candy as a kid (???? What the hell author) and never developed powers except for agility (common in all vamps) and long life. So, she's protected in all the fights.

There is quite a bit of snu snu but not as exciting as the Regent & princess one.

After Osiris died 1000 years ago, his powers were split amongst pure bloods. ML was created, not born from, half of Osiris and Tobias. He exists to reclaim Osiris' powers (???) To balance out Vampires powers and not have them overrun humans (???). Every 300 yrs he will massacre purebloods to absorb their powers. In one of such massacre events, he met MC's mother as a child and decided to spare his mother in law's life bc he saw MC's and his future in MIL's eyes.

Poison Manor Master Arc.. imo this was the best story... This could have carried a whole novel on its own... no spoilers here because it's pretty straightforward.

Doctor in the Mental Hospital arc... there is R*pe here and MC has s*icidal thoughts. Be careful. After finishing this arc, I can't help but get the feeling that she's being manipulated to be desensitized to insanity.

ML is the psychopathic cannibal who hypnotized the the staff and took over the island. He wanted to eat MC but ended up "eating" her instead. Lots of non-con so read at your own risk.

Professor in wheelchair arc..

Um, I definitely felt odd about the siblings as I was reading, and I was right lol. That said, this is another sad one, the kind of sad that lingers. ML is the AI program Guardian, and the three people involved with MC are all his sub programs who want to possess MC. In the end, Guardian is subject to an eternity without MC so it's sad.

Bandit leader arc...

during the transition before the next world. Lu Chen (RL ML) steps out from the white space. He is the "System" and all the MLs of course. It appears he is also insane and drove her to self harm in their reality, and now her life is hanging by a thread.

"Fengguang didn't have Lu Chen, but she still had family and friends, but Lu Chen didn't have Fengguang, he had nothing." He really has been, intentionally or not, desensitizing MC. They were married and after 3 years of hiding himself he must have done something horrible to her parents and maybe their daughter. Anyway, he wipes her memories and sends her into another novel world as a system again.

Moving on to the Bandit story. There is a twist.. apparently nothing during the fight w the dragon, MC was injured and fell into a coma so nothing afterwards actually happened. Her parents are still alive etc. OG Mo Qing chose other lives over MC and lost a bet with Jiao Long (the dragon) and the dragon fell in love w MC. I guess he created an ID that was second Mo Qing?
