Girls’ Dormitory Escape Chapter 69 Discussion

Well written.

i like the character's personalities and their chemistry.

The way that the novel conveys the differences between their reactions without making it seem like one character is better than the others.

Tang Xinjue has an actual basis for being calm and isn't some overly mentally strong person. She has struggled with issues before and has a plan. Her knowledge is gained through pain and isn't randomly acquired. I love her relationship with her team and how she manipulates her words to annoy others. Her calm and composed attitude helps even the team out.

Guo Guo is realistic. How many people can enter a horror game and not freak out! Or get possessed by a ghost? She is a scaredy cat and there's nothing wrong with that. Her absolute trust in Tang Xinjue is admirable. She isn't some scheming wicked person who only cares about herself.

Zheng Wanqing is the more impulsive one. She idolises Tang Xinjue and has a temper.

Zhang You is the cautious one. And the unlucky one. Her reactions are also understandable, she isn't afraid to ask for help.

While I have to admit Tang Xinjue is my favourite character, I also d really like the other members of the dorm room. There's finally a team in an apocalyptic/horror game that is health. There is no struggles for power, mutual respect and trust and realistic reactions. I keep emphasising this because it is so unrealistic to think that people can remain calm in those situations especially only college students.

Their solutions are thought out and funnySpoiler

Tang Xinjues plunger is hilarious and its uses even more so!

I really like this novel and would recommend. The themes of friendship and loyalty are strong and the realism is immersive.
