I have skipped so many arcs. So many.

this is the types of story where the author kills the essence of the world for the sake of raising the protagonists.

the first arc is okay. The rest go down hill.

i don’t mean that the author kills off characters but the essence of the world is lost just so that the protagonists can fit into selected stereotypes. That is weak and obedient FL and dominate and rejected yet very beautiful ml. This means, it’s really annoying.

if you want a clear example, read the zombie arc.

Spoiler

first, the FL is a zombie, then suddenly she can only take the ml’s blood. Like?

make it a pact thing, maybe a vampire and some other creature. But an entire zombie just drinking blood? Make it make sense.

Worst of all, after the FL bites the ml, he doesn’t even turn. They don’t even explain why her body is different from other zombies at all. Apparently she’s healing????? What?

then, and very unrealistically, the entire base is okay with her being a zombie? Huh?

just so that the ML and FL can be together, an entire apocalyptic arc is ruined

[collapse]

there’s also the matriarchy arc

Spoiler

so, not only does the ML exhibit more masculine traits in contrast to the males who exhibit more feminine traits, he is constantly praised for exhibiting the masculine traits.

also the female lead is praised for having more feminine traits.

why is that a problem? Because the author built a s*upid world to begin with.

a matriarchy is supposed to be about women expressing their femininity to the fullest not acting like men.

what the author does is to create a patriarchy where men just have women parts. And women have men parts.

not only is the villain fickle and poorly designed, he is degraded by the author for following customs that the very world is built on.

instead of the author expressing the beauty and uniqueness of the world she made, she insults it.

first of all, the author builds a lackluster world where genders just swap titles. Even then, the characters can’t be themselves. It’s just annoying and boring all at the same time.

I’m sure if she had to go deeper, they would give the male pregnancies and v*ginas.

[collapse]

generally speaking, it’s your very basic copy of ML meets FL and then they get together.

in every arc, you’re going to meet this plot.

-FL arrives and reviews her life.

-FL lives her life until she meets ml.

-FL proceeds to forget about her life.

-ML is hooked

-ML has been betrayed by his family

-FL exists around ML and he suddenly heals

-they continue to live.

i can barely remember most of the arcs I’ve read.

don’t waste your time.
