I think most of the bad reviews are from people that didnt make it far into the story or at least past ch 100... tbh the story is really good its just slow.. because the female lead is basically putting all the blocks where they should so she is able to leave without difficulty and this made it pretty boring and slow from ch 50-90 or so.. but it kinda picks up after that when she is set up to go.. But ill be honest the female lead and the male lead carry this novel hard aka a Hardcarry, this is one of my fav female leads.. she knows what she wants and goes after it.. she is a f*cking badass.. but she is also pretty much mentally worn out from all the things she been through and so she doesnt show much emotion and I guess that can upset some readers, she only starts to express genuine emotions later on with the male lead..I also really like the interactions between them, they seemed quite realistic I honestly dont think the process was slow but I would have highly preferred some miniature time skips of irrelevant events that dragged on for 5-10 ch or so and showed more interactions between the FMC and ML, I think this would have made the read thru the beginning much more enjoyable.
