The Sick and Gloomy Bamboo Horse Was Stunned by My Kiss Chapter -- Discussion

I avoided reviews before reading but I concur with everything BookLoverS said after reading.

I am absolutely furious with the author. They ruined such a good couple with contrived drama. I was forced to face the fact that

• ML was written to always be insecure in this relationship. First, because of his disability and then because of separation anxiety.
• MC remained mentally immature throughout the novel. She did not read as someone who had gone through two lives, gone through loss, betrayal, great success, etc. She came across exactly like a 14yr old. If she truly matured, she wouldn't regress after already understanding that open communication is important and misunderstandings should be avoided.

The author used one of my biggest taboo plot devices, "I'm doing this for your own good". I pray I never meet such a disastrous well intentioned person, because it's always the results that matter. Thus, people shouldn't be so narcissistic to think they know another person's desires and needs, more than the person involved.
