this is one of the funniest novels I've read in a while, genuinely. the comedy tag should be capitalized and bolded hahaha. I HIGHLY recommend this if you're looking for a lighthearted and really funny novel that also has adventure and "melon-eating" elements in it (because the MC somehow finds himself in everyone's business LOL).I don't usually like reading anything historical and cultivation but this is an exception! it's so good!also... I just LOVE how unpredictable the plot of this story is. yet, there is also some great foreshadowing as well. you never know what's coming but when things go down you look back and realize the author sprinkled an appropriate amount of crumbs in the past that lead up to this.the two leads are SO cute together.Spoiler
as of this review they have not gotten together, but feelings are being cultivated!
[collapse]it's a slow burn in the BEST way. even when there isn't any progress on the romance, they also just make great friends and partners in crime hahaha.this is so refreshing!Spoilernothing quite like seeing cultivators doing so many extra things that the MC can solve in a simple way with his expertise in everything STEM. need to break a formation even cultivators cants do anything about? just take out a large, industrial drilling rig! lol
