My Childhood Friend Had a Boyfriend, So When I Was Making Lunch for Another Girl, My Childhood Friend Started Acting Strange Chapter 16 Discussion

Generally it's just the usual case of BSS (boku ga saki ni sukidatta no ni) about a childhood friend. MC then finds new girl, she has family issues that conveniently only the MC can solve, what a serendipitous coinkydink lol. It's an okayish read to pass the time I guess, buuut... I wouldn't go so far as to say that she's completely insufferable, but Akari (childhood friend) is incredibly selfish.

Spoiler

imma say this first, I hate complacency. BSS is a you problem, you dont muster up the courage, you dont confess, you deserve nuffin and you get nuffin. Takeru and Akari were close, but they werent dating, so Yasaka-senpai did nothing wrong. In fact Yasaka-senpai is such a good boi that instead of him committing NTR, he's the kind of guy that gets NTR'd. After Takeru chided Akari for going to another man's house while having a boyfriend, Akari shamelessly asked permission from Yasaka-senpai for her to keep going to Takeru's house and Yasaka-senpai allowed it, that's like a recipe for disaster if this was a different kind of novel

As for Akari im just like are u forreal gurl? Takeru was trying to distance himself and set boundaries since you were dating someone else, Takeru even considered Yasaka-senpai's feelings, why are you still coming over to eat and hang out at his house? You cant have your cake and eat it too. I guess it's realistic in the sense that some people CAN be this selfish and irrational irl

Yasaka-senpai is best boi, Takeru almost fell for him when they talked lmao
