Giving it 5 stars, both for the novel and the author! This one has got me so emotional with the ups and downs. It is one of those stories you cannot predict on what will happen next. I hesitated finishing it at first and ended up very glad because I persisted. Like any other stories, this one both have advantages and disadvantages, depends on what the reader actually likes. This one is a slow burn kind of novel with a different way of storytelling (so many stories inside the novel itself, if u get what I mean) getting you immersed (almost feel like your reading another story), and of course the not so usual male-female characteristics in a bxb novels (the male is the fragile one, which is very rare in novels). So many emotional and pyschological challenges between the characters that it made the story quite real, they (zerg char.s, not the mc) also didn't immediately change on how they think maintaining their animalistic tendencies farcry from those novels that they almost felt like 'human' even if they are actually not. The MC also felt like a 2d in the first half and gradually became a 3d in the later half. He improved in later chapters which is good. It is also a HE!
