Surviving as a Mage in a Magic Academy Chapter 289 Discussion

I finally decide to drop this. Overall it is a funny novel so I do recommend this for people who usually don't take things too seriously

Pros:

- Bad guys are not dumb, some of them even turn good after being beaten to puff. This is somewhat side characters grow so they are not that 1 dimensional.

- The writting is smooth and pretty funny so even if the story is somewhat repeative you won't care about it that much.

- No harem

Cons:

- Story is somewhat repeative

- MC is a teacher pet and will do anything to please teachers even when he doesn't like it at all. He is very obsessed with score and evaluations. The whole novel revolves around that characteristic so it become so frustrating to read MC keep burdening himself with things he does not like. He dislike them so much but never speak his mind and people just think that he like those things so much so they keep pushing more. I really don't like that kind of people. I wish he can pick and choose, discard some of that burdens. For example, the beaver professor is pretty much incompetent in teaching, MC is a smart guy he could just ditch the class and learn by himself. I know it is the novel gimmick but goddamn I don't want to read that sh*t for hundred more chapters.
