The novel is funny overall. The characters that exist are also pretty great. However, the MC... just feels somehow whiny?The MC not wanting to study is the premise of the story, but, the entire story feels like he'd be happy going back to his life before transmigration and working himself to death in SK's many corporate offices. Instead of showing any joy to Magic, he brushes it off as a chore. Spoiler
He doesn't want to learn water magic because it's useless, he just wants to work as a high mage in the empire and do nothing.
[collapse]He specifically wants to be the best at taking it easy and he jumps through several hoops to "take it easy" (I'd rate it lower if I could.)
