It’s Annoying Because My Childhood Friend Is An Archmage Chapter 61 Discussion

Having waded through to chapter 61 this is looking entertaining romantic comedy built on lighthearted non-sense.

However it relies on a premise which the author takes way too long to hint and then fully clarity (by chapter 50 and some) and without knowing that premise the first tens of characters do read pretty terrible.

The premise is

The female lead is romantically in love with the male lead from long before the story starts and is fully aware of her feelings. However she has chosen not to pursue it out of concern for his well being and concern that his child-like affection is not romantic love.
