I had such high expectations but it fell flat because /spoilers/ ML is of course a beauty that can befell a country and the MC fell for it despite vowing not to. And they left to the countryside disregarding their responsibilities. 7 years was how long Dong was hiding. Like yes the country turned back to be under Liu again but it was the next generation.
