Our MC starts off with seemingly high eq and at least a moderate iq but it all goes downhill. Our ML starts off as a repressed as*hole with issues, rude and inconsiderate and he transforms towards the end in a quasi normal dude that frankly, I thought he got his soul swapped too or something. Would have been nice if he was kinder to our MC earlier (ffs letting our MC walk for miles because he was so repressed and assholish that he didn’t want to lent him a car from his dozens wth). I don’t know why the MC fell for him (except that he was lonely and too much of a considerate pushover). I stayed reading in the hopes to see at least a good wife chasing lol, that took like 3 chapters not even. Sure, ML is suddenly open and talking and affectionate and stuff. MC eating that up and just gets back to him forgetting how he tried to get closer before just to be shut out (while in the hospital &hurt too). I’m angry for him why isn’t he? And how dumb are you MC to risk your life for a videotape? That horse race makes no sense. Lol, I don’t even want to read any extras. Sure they were cute and fluffy but no. ML ruined it when he dumped MC while in hospital and straight up divorced him when MC came to give him his birthday present. MC ruined it when after he pulled himself together after divorce and got into business and stuff, he just forgave and forgot everything so easily. Wth. Dude moved your stuff out while you were in a coma and gave you divorce papers for your efforts in organizing his birthday&present, his “nice” staff completely ignore you when ML is in a bad mood and acting up and you just get back together? Just like that? No talk, no chasing, no anger at all? Suddenly everything is fluffy? I’m angry.
