This novel is just okay.I like the interactions between the MC and ML for the most part. The issues start up with all the other aspects of the story. This is nitpicky, however, I personally hate the way the author writes, 'his eyes gained a bright light' or, 'His eyes had a bright light in them as he looked seriously up at-blank'. I do not like this imagery because all I can picture is the main character having normal eyes, then out of nowhere he gains glowing eyes like Superman using his laser eyes.I also strongly disliked how OP the MC was, especially with his pharmaceutical skills. In addition, his OPness with Mecha started to feel old after a while. I was initially interested in the Mecha described by the author. However, the constant random occurrence of people who either needed the MC's help, or had to have the MC fix something because he managed to be to OP and cause something to break/go outdated/be revealed became to frequent.I am also not the biggest fan of the ML. While he IS a better ML then some stories I have read, he still does things with no real logic. An example is not clearly explaining to the MC how poorly thought and harmful his actions of making blueprints available were. The MC, being a unparalleled genius, somehow made plans for a entirely new connectivity system for Mecha, and made available his detailed notes to a well known 'hidden' forum. After doing so, he almost caused the ENTIRE BUSINESS to go bankrupt.Another pet peeve was he ML not just confessing. He is extremely possessive, even before the two are together. One example is the MC cooked a meal for him and there was enough for his (ML) friends to try as well. After hearing one friend jokingly mention opening a restaurant, he immediately thinks the MC should not. Even though the MC does need money. There are more reasons I rated this novel so low that I might update my review to include in the future.Good luck to fellow readers.😑
