I take the risk of being a little unfair in this assessment since undoubtedly this work is not for me. I don't like the harem genre, but I love the "extra" character trope, and works with this trope usually have a harem. However, I've become capable of overlooking the harem, mainly because in this trope, the harem is usually very mild and non-aggressive. However, this work, from what I could gather so far, will take a different path, a path more similar to Japanese novels. From chapter 7 onwards, the protagonist is surrounded by girls, and even the only relevant male character who got close to the protagonist is actually a girl disguising herself as a boy. Honestly, this novel draws heavily from Japanese novels, even the protagonist's sword is quite similar to a katana. I'm not the target audience, so I won't continue reading, but if you are the target audience, you can go ahead without fear.
