*breathes in, then breathes out*Having read this story it got me riled up to the point that I overreact to what the author has written on a certain chapter and even causing me to get so engrossed that I forgot the numbing pain in my hand when I saw the lead characters opposing one another on a certain chapter.Spoiler
I mean like! WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chapter 111-120 was the part that I was on that when I read about Qi Yan sending her sister's son faraway to another place.
I was like, "you could've just kept it! You could've just found another way instead of going in a roundabout step that wouldn't have had involved in sending your sister's son away!" Like, I get it. This story is a slow burn just like Female General and Eldest Princess and it's the author's right to write the kind of story they would like to have readers to read.
No offense but does the author take pleasure in hearing their reader's agony when a certain event went against their expectations? Just putting that out there......
[collapse]All in all, I don't know if I can take another angsty and dark chapter again as I wonder if continuing this story is even good for my healthy and young heart. But! Despite the author's way in giving us such angsty story, how the author brings out each characters' growth and emotion is enough to make one feel like they are real. Like, REAL REAL...
