It's a decent story so far, but I can't help but feel disappointed after having read the manga before. The narrative is much less polished and conspiracies are told from the perspective of the conspirators from the start so there is no suspense. It's also missing parts of the plot that were very useful in establishing characters and their relations to another. It has potential for improvement when the first arc is done.

If it gets a light novel / that light novel is translated, I'd recommend to read that instead, as it will likely have the more polished version. I've read web novels that were better than their light novels before, but presumably this isn't one of them.

Translations from both translators are rather poor as well, which doesn't help the novel either. It's readable, but half the time I don't know what's supposed to be going on.
