Has anyone ever read the manga Yona of the Dawn, well let me tell you, it’s special. At first glance, from the perspective of the anime, it seems like a typical shoujo story. No. It is so much more. It has phenomenal storytelling and worldbuilding, with a great grasp of politics and realism of life. This novel reminds me of that. At first glance it looks like a cute and fluffy otome isekai, but read a little further and it gets so much deeper. But because it is so painfully real (of course not all the time it is a LN after all) there is a lot of struggle. So please, be patient, especially after chapter 70. Just because many characters will (little spoiler be warned) betray the MC, do not drop this! This story is more than a shoujo, more than a romance, more than an otome. It is a journey to rebuild a kingdom that has lost its hope, hidden by propaganda of ignorant nobles and privileged commoners. Please continue reading this, I really do believe it will be worth the read to watch the growth of not only the characters but of their world.
