I enjoyed this for a while but the author has a tendency to go off on very long tangents. A dozen chapters can go by where the main character isn't mentioned and the active characters are newly sprung into existence for some unknown purpose unrelated to anything.I assume the author is trying to make the world seem larger with multiple plot lines going on simultaneously but it isn't done well and the plot lines never converge on each other so the side stories are seemingly random things that should be edited out completely.Unfortunately a dozen chapters of "stuff" seems to be happening more often by chapter 300 so I can't be bothered to continue.Was great while the author focused on the main character though!
