The protagonist is frustratingly s*upid and weak-minded. The og protagonist also seems rather dumb. I'm still almost at the very beginning, but they both need some real character development for the novel to be anywhere an enjoyable read. Right now it's just the protagonist hesitating over every single thing and getting scared over every single thing and getting every single thing wrong she can. The writing isn't technically so bad, but the characters definitely are.The premise isn't exactly new, but there could be potential in it, since we don't yet know much. I have a feeling it won't develop all that well though...
