It isn't big on action and as far as romance is concerned it is practically nonexistent.

Where it shines is its character development and setting. Our high elf protagonist takes his time with things he does and the things he does are interesting. His perspective is that of someone who can casually alot some 30 years on a hobby, yet he moves in a world that rapidly changes. He travels a lot and meets a lot of characters and the world he experiences is just so interesting.
