This is in my top 3, top 5 at worst of WNs all time. I won't list the others, but I really like this one. I have to re-read from the start as translations for this were always tricky, I'd probably prefer a. Pdf honestly for the series. I liked this so much I wanted to buy the official LN but there wasn't an official translation. I'm rather fond of the TL that ended up finishing this, Reigokai and generally enjoy the works he picks up.The MC is a gamer through and through, the game itself is a buggy mess, a complete garbage game, a kusoge you could say. The writer clearly is an actual gamer which is very rare, and by gamer I mean someone that has been gaming for a long time. I don't know their age but they are definitely an experienced adult that started gaming as a child decades ago. Things have changed over time and there are references to so many things you'd only know if if you gamed decades ago.The story seamlessly combines this backsetting with fun characters, comedy, and brings everything to life. If you don't enjoy this style of humor I can understand not enjoying it though. However, if you don't dislike it, then it's going to be just be a fantastic ride. It's all well written with plenty of foreshadowing and callbacks. It's an isekai and, without spoiling it, it does pay off on that front as well. I'm purposely being vague, but suffice it to say the isekai elements are present and anything related to them is explained and resolved satisfactorily.
