Cute short story. MC and ML are both martial arts experts - she's a secret Imperial Constable and by day, the head dancer at an entertainment pavilion. He's a disguise expert and a cold Jianghu assassin. Every time they meet, they're in different roles. They fall in love and she decides to make him hers. She's a great schemer, and he's helplessly in love with her. The plot, pacing, characters, translation and ending are all well done. This is the second in a quartet of short stories, one for each disciple sister/secret constable. This story intersects and continues the plot from the first book.
