The story is nice, the character is interesting, I like the reason why Ekaterina becomes a villainess in the game, and how her brother become a siscon. Even though at the beginning it just feels like a joke, a brocon and siscon, but after you keep reading it, it'll hit you, it happen because they only have each other.Ekaterina never see her father and brother since she was born because Ekaterina and her mother got ab*sed for 15 years by her grandmother. Her brother raised without familial love, and got forced to work as duke replacement since little, where he also never got to see his mother and his sister.now that their parents and grandmother already died, in the original game, Ekaterina hate her brother, because she thinks her brother is the reason their mother died, and because Ekaterina appearance is similar to their mother, her brother feel guilty and keep spoiling her to makes up for his lack of familial love.This is where the past life comes in, The MC know about their circumstances, at first there are 2 personality inside Ekaterina, and after those personality merge, this new Ekaterina where she got the original Ekaterina feelings, and past life thought process, decided to give familial love to her brother, and to not let their life got ruined again.Spoiler
When Ekaterina tell the dragon king to not separate her from her brother because they only have each other, that really hit me, the prologue of this story is quite good.
I don't know if the author based his story with the "Let it go" japanese lyrics, but it's really spot on. There is one part where Ekaterina singing the let it go japanese version, and she explain this lyric have similar circumstances with Ekaterina's life, so I decided to search the japanese lyrics, and damn, it's different with the english version, and really spot on with this story.
[collapse]Not just that, the side character also interesting, and it's good that some of them got their past stories. But the author also telling the back stories of unimportant characters, so it's quite a chore to read, I mean who cares about them, their story is not even part of the main plot, what's the point of including them. There are a lots of this pointless chapter.and the excessive praise for Ekaterina by her brother is too much, at first it's still good, saying something like "My dear sister you're beautiful like the night queen" but in later chapter the praise keep becoming excessive and it feels more like a joke, and sometimes I can feel the yandere vibes in those praise. I don't know if the author put those on purpose, I jut hope the brother is not a yandere.it's enjoyable than other villainess story, so it's a good read for me, I definitely recommend this one
