Villainess Is Changing Her Role to a Brocon Chapter 48 Discussion

Okay so first off: thanks to the translating team for all they've done! They worked hard to make the story more accessible for us, making POV shifts and who's speaking more clearer.

Okay now for the actual review. If you're wanting something amazing and new and all that, this isn't quite it. It's a simple story loosely working off the pre-established villainess transmigration template. However, it is still enjoyable! It's a read that doesn't make you think too much; just sit back and relax and enjoy the ride!

I love our protagonist. She's got a clear goal (bro-conning like hell) and uses what she can to try and make her brother's life better. She understands her brother's position and genuinely puts in the work to support him. She isn't some super genius, but she uses what she does know effectively, showing us how clever she can be. Also love the fact that she cares -100% for any love interest: she's here for her bro and her bro only. It's fantastic.

Her brother is also super cute. Extreme sis-con to the MAX, I hope to see more of his doting throughout the story. The story acknowledges that the protagonist's tragic backstory also heavily affected him, which is something not many novels (I've read) do so kudos to the author for that. Usually it's everyone gets their own separate tragic backstories instead of being interwoven together. I love how when our protagonist calls him out, he critically examines his behaviour and acknowledges that his sister was right. Also that the both of them realised they did something wrong to each other in that argument so they both apologise and talk it out. Healthy communication for the win!

You also don't have to worry about the OG Heroine being a white lotus or anything. She's a very good friend to our protagonist and I want her to be happy.

All in all, a solid read with many enjoyable moments.
