It is a pretty cool novel that mixes post-apocalyptic vibes with a unique twist. The main dude, Sergeant Shin Young-joon, is a military chef who ends up in a monster-infested world right when he's about to finish his service. The setting is pretty detailed and immersive, blending modern military stuff with fantasy elements like magic and mythical creatures. It's a nice change from the usual combat-heavy stories since the focus is on a chef. Shin Young-joon's cooking skills become super important for survival and morale, adding a unique spin to the plot.Characters are well done, especially the main guy. He's relatable, smart, and compassionate, making him an interesting lead. The side characters are also diverse and add depth to the story. However, the detailed world-building might feel a bit much sometimes, and the pacing can be slow. Some parts of the plot might drag a little, and the detailed descriptions are a little too much. All in all, "is a good read if you're into post-apocalyptic stories with a unique angle. 4/5
